Definition and Usage

The Launch Excel command is used to create a new Excel sheet or open an existing Excel sheet. It allows you to access the Excel files on your device and execute different operations on the file, like inserting rows, deleting rows, etc.


Parameters Values

Set parameters

Parameter

Description

Launch mode

Select "Open an existing Excel sheet" or "Create a new Excel sheet".

File path

Click "Browse" to select the location of the Excel file you want to open or create.

Excel App

Select the Excel App to open the Excel sheet.

Save Excel file as

Save the Excel file as a new variable.

Advanced settings

Enter password

Enter the password of the encrypted Excel file.

Edit password

Edit the password of the encrypted Excel file.

Error handling

When error occurs

Specify the action to proceed when an error occurs


Example

This workflow will insert a blank row under the first row in SheetA of the Task.xls file.
