Definition and Usage

The Write to Excel row command is used to write content row by row into an Excel worksheet. It supports appending, inserting or overwriting content.

Note: A Write to Excel cell command must to used with a Launch Excel command.


Parameter Values

Set parameters

Parameter

Description

Excel object

Select an Excel object.

Write mode

Specify the write mode as

  • Append (write on the next line after the last non-blank line),

  • Insert (write before the target the row ),

  • Overwrite (overwrite the specified row).

Input mode

Specify the input mode as

  • Write to a specific column

  • Write to an entire row.

Start column

Specify the starting column to input the value. Enter a non-zero integer or a letter. 1 means the first column and -1 means the last column.

Value to write

The content to write.

Sheet name (optional)

Enter the name of the worksheet. If empty, the current active sheet will be selected.
