Google Maps Contact Extractor

Overview

This app extracts key business details such as ratings, addresses, emails, and social media links from a list of Google Maps listing pages. You can easily gather store information from various locations and save the results in an organized Excel spreadsheet, making it an efficient tool for data collection from Google Maps.

How to Use

1. Download the app from Octoparse AI app store.

2. Launch the app in your list.

   1.  Parameter Description

      

      1. Listing_URLs: Enter the Google Maps listing page URLs. Example URLs:

           https://www.google.com/maps/search/Pizza+in+London,+UK

           https://www.google.com/maps/search/Hair+Salon+near+Brooklyn

      2. Save_to: The folder where the collected data will be saved.

   2. Click "Run application"

3. Output

   This app will automatically extract the following details from each provided Google Maps listing page:

   • Ratings, address, email, phone numbers, and social media links.

   • The collected data will be saved into an Excel file in the specified folder.

Notes

• Do not use the mouse or keyboard while the app is running to avoid interruptions.

• Please install Google Chrome and the Octoparse AI Chrome extension before running the application.

• Please open the "Allow in incognito" option in the details panel of the Octoparse AI Google Chrome extension.

  

• Please install the lxml library before running this application. Installation instructions are shown in the image below.

  • Click on your user avatar in the client, go to "Tools" and select "Python Library Management."

  • Enter the package name in the "Library Name" field, click "Install" and wait for the installation to complete. Then, close the window and run the app.
