How to Use

1. Download the app from Octoparse AI app store

2. (Optional) Customize the workflow

   This app allows you to customize it to create your own LinkedIn workflow. Simply click the "Edit" button next to the app in your list to open the workflow editor.

   

3. Launch the app in your list

   

   1. Parameter Description

      

      1. ProfilesCount: Specifies the number of connections to collect from your LinkedIn network.

      2. StartDateForScraping: Specifies the number of days to look back for connections added after a certain date. For example, entering 30 will collect connections added in the last 30 days.

      3. Browser: Select the browser where the app will run.

      4. ExportPath: Select the folder where you’d like to save the scraped data.

      5. AdsPowerProfileId: If you’re using AdsPower, open a profile first and enter its ID here.

4. Output

   The app generates a simple Excel file with all the extracted data, including timestamps, LinkedIn profile URLs, names (first and last), profile IDs, headlines, connection degrees, and connection dates. This data is easy to sort and analyze, helping you make the most of your LinkedIn network.

Notes

• Please log into your LinkedIn account in the specified browser beforehand and ensure the browser is in full-screen mode while the app is running.

• Do not use the mouse or keyboard while the app is running to avoid interruptions.

• Please adhere to LinkedIn’s automation rate limits and manage the number of message threads you extract daily.

  • We recommend extracting no more than 300 profiles per run, with a daily limit of 1,000 profiles.

  • To stay within these limits, you can split your extraction by connection date or add wait time between extractions by configuring your workflow.

  • Start with a smaller batch and gradually increase the number of profiles to ensure you stay within LinkedIn’s guidelines.
