Overview

This app gathers comprehensive data on LinkedIn event activities for designated users, including the event URL, title, engagement metrics (views, reactions, comments, reposts), attendee count, and posting timestamp. Whether you're tracking industry events, monitoring competitor activities, or analyzing networking opportunities, this app provides valuable insights into professional events shared on LinkedIn. It simplifies the process of staying informed about relevant events and their popularity within your professional network.

How to Use

1. Download the app from Octoparse AI app store.

2. Launch the app in your list.

   

   1. Parameter Description

      

      1. ProfileUrls: Select an Excel file containing up to 80 LinkedIn profile URLs from which you want to extract events. The URLs should be formatted as https://www.linkedin.com/in/****/ and start from cell A2 in Sheet1 (with the first row as the header).

         

      2. ExportPath: Select the folder where you’d like to save the scraped data.

      3. EventCount: Specify the number of event data points to collect for each profile.

      4. Browser: Select the browser where the app will run.

      5. AdsPowerProfileId: If you’re using AdsPower, open a profile first and enter its ID here.

3. Output

   For each event activity record, the app collects the following data: profile URL, timestamp of data collection, event URL, event title, view count, reaction count, comment count, repost count, attendee count, and the original post timestamp. If any errors occur during data collection, they are also recorded. The app generates a new Excel file with all the collected data each time it runs, allowing for easy analysis and comparison of event engagement over time.

   

Notes

• Please log into your LinkedIn account in the specified browser beforehand and ensure the browser is in full-screen mode while the app is running.

• Do not use the mouse or keyboard while the app is running to avoid interruptions.

• Please adhere to LinkedIn’s automation rate limits and manage the amount of data you extract daily. It's recommended to start with a small number and gradually increase.
