How to Use

🛠 First time using an Octoparse AI app?

Make sure you've installed the Octoparse AI client and completed the setup — including the browser extension and any required Python packages — before running this app.

1. Download the app from Octoparse AI app store.

2. Launch the app in your list.

   

   1. Parameter Description

      

      1. Profile URLs: Enter the LinkedIn profile URLs you want to message, one per line.

      2. Profile URLs (Excel file): Upload an Excel file with profile URLs in the first column, starting from row 2 (row 1 is the header). Example: https://www.linkedin.com/in/****

         

         📌Use either this option or the "Profile URLs" field—not both.

      3. Browser: Select the browser where the app will run.

      4. AdsPowerProfileId: If you're using AdsPower, open a profile first and enter its ID here.

      5. Message Sending Conditions: Set when the message should be sent automatically.

      6. Message Content: Enter the message you want to send.

         📌Only required if you select "Custom input" as the Message Generation Method.

      7. Message Generation Method:  Choose how the message is created:

         • Custom input: You write the message (requires "Message Content").

         • AI-generated: The app writes personalized messages based on each profile.

           📌 AI generation uses your account balance—make sure it's sufficient.

      8. Attachment: Upload any file(s) to send with the message, such as images or documents.

      9. ExportPath: Choose the folder where results will be saved.

3. Output

   The app generates an Excel file for each day’s outreach attempts, named with the corresponding date. If the app runs multiple times in a day, new results will be added to the existing file for that day. The file includes details such as timestamps, recipient names, LinkedIn profile URLs, headlines, message content, and attachments. It also tracks replies, errors, and sender information. This data helps you analyze the success of your outreach and refine your strategy.

   

Notes

• Before running the app, make sure to install the following Python packages: requests, pandas, chardet, and openpyxl. Installation instructions are shown in the image below.

  • Click on your user avatar in the client, go to "Tools" and select "Python Library Management."

    

  • Enter the package name in the "Library Name" field, click "Install" and wait for the installation to complete. Then, close the window and run the app.

    

• Please log into your LinkedIn account in the specified browser beforehand and ensure the browser is in full-screen mode while the app is running.

• Do not use the mouse or keyboard while the app is running to avoid interruptions.

• Please follow LinkedIn's automation limits to ensure safe and reliable message delivery.

  • Limit your outreach to 10 messages per hour, with no more than 80 messages per day.

  • Start with smaller batches and gradually scale up to avoid triggering restrictions.

  • Stick to a consistent IP address whenever possible.

  • If you encounter delivery issues or blocks, reduce your hourly and daily volume.
