Overview
This app allows you to eliminate duplicate entries from your Excel sheet efficiently. After you select the file and specify the column and starting row, the app automatically processes the data and removes duplicates. This functionality is particularly useful for maintaining clean and organized datasets.
How to use
Download the app from Octoparse AI app store.
Launch the app in your list.
Parameter Description
ExcelFilePath: Select or enter the absolute file path of the Excel file.
SheetName: Enter the sheet name of the worksheet that contains the data. The first sheet will be selected by default if this parameter is left blank.
ColumnNumber: Enter the column number for which you want to remove duplicates. You can specify a single column using 1 or A, or multiple columns using A, B, C, or 1:3.
StartRowNumber: Enter the row number from which to start removing duplicates.
Click "Run application"
Output
The app will automatically remove duplicate entries based on your specified criteria, saving the changes directly to the original file.
Note
Please do not use the keyboard or mouse while the app is running to avoid interruptions.
Make sure to back up your file, as the app will overwrite the original data by default.
Since duplicates will be removed and saved directly to the original sheet, please make sure to back up your data before running the app.
