TXT File Sorter by Keyword

Overview

This app helps you to read file content, sort the files by keyword(s) input in the setup parameter, and store the keyword-matched files in the specified folder. This application is ideal for anyone looking to streamline file organization and quickly locate documents related to specific topics or themes.

How to Use

1. Download the app from Octoparse AI app store.

2. Launch the app in your list.

   

   1. Parameter Description

      

      1. FolderSelection_SourceFile: Select the folder that contains the files you would like to sort by keyword(s).

      2. Keyword: Input the keyword(s) by which you would like to sort the source files. You can input multiple keywords, each keyword in a line.

      3. Folder_KeywordMatchedFiles: Select the folder in which you would like to store the files that contain the keywords.

   2.  Click "Run application"

3. Output

   The app will organize and save all files that contain the specified keywords into a designated folder.

   

Notes

• This app can only sort TXT files.

• Make sure the files you want to sort are stored in the same folder.

• Please don't move mouse or use keyboard during execution.
